BUB is a cushion filled with water, which stimulates users with a mental disability to exercise and gives them the opportunity to become aware of their body. I made this product in collaboration with Simen Vrancken and Cedric Van Hool.
Actors in the care sector should be brought together around the table to have a fun experience with their caretakers. In this way we would like to enhance the social abilities of the caretaker with his/her family or caregiver. The water cushion is a personal experience between two or more actors with keeping respect for the caretakers personal space. Through BUB, We believe that, caretakers get encouraged to learn and interact with others, using a touch-based water cushion. The actors will generate playful, colorful and educational experiences with each other.
