Through the skin, a thin border between ourselves and the outside world, we experience warmth, texture, pressure, but also the intention of a touch.  

HUIDHONGER investigates how wearable technology can help soothe skin hunger. Through different garments equipped with technology, I redesigned the experience around touch. The wearables add another layer to tactile sensation by adding an auditory dimension. Each touch is transformed into a different sound experience. The garments externalize intimacy. They invite people to share a tactile sensation.
